Terms of service
Last updated 11 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between Eclyde Corporation ("Eclyde", "we", "us") and the business or person using eclyde.com, the restaurant audit or the Eclyde platform ("you"). The platform includes the dashboard, point of sale, kitchen display, online ordering websites, staff and driver apps, and related services. By creating an account or using any of them, you agree to these terms.
Who can use Eclyde
- Eclyde is a service for businesses. You must be 18 or over.
- If you sign up for a business, you must have authority to bind that business.
- The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
The restaurant audit
The free audit uses public information about your restaurant and your answers to estimate your marketplace costs and direct-order opportunity. Those figures are estimates based on stated assumptions. They are not financial advice or a promise of results. You must only request an audit for a restaurant you own or represent.
Pricing and payment
- Everything: €99 a month, billed monthly in advance, with no limits on orders or customers. It covers the till, your own website and online ordering, loyalty and marketing, your listing on Delo, and the work of setting you up. There is no separate launch fee.
- Own drivers: €49 a month if your business delivers with its own drivers on the Delo Driver app.
- Commission: 0% commission, card fees at standard rates. Eclyde takes no commission on your orders, whether they come from your own website or from Delo.
- Delo order fee: a customer ordering on Delo pays 50c per order. It is not taken from your business.
- Guarantee: in any month Delo sends your business fewer than 10 orders, that month's fee is refunded automatically. You do not have to ask.
- Price lock: the price you join on is yours for as long as you stay.
- Taxes: Eclyde is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on these fees.
- Card payments: online payments go through your own Stripe account, under Stripe's terms and fees. Eclyde does not process card payments.
- Google Ads credits: if you use Eclyde to run Google Ads, you prepay an ad credit balance. The balance, the daily charges and any top-up settings are shown in your dashboard, and the terms shown when you top up apply.
- Hardware: hardware bought, financed or rented through Eclyde is covered by the terms given at the time of that order.
- Price changes: your own price is locked while you stay with us. If a fee that is not covered by that lock changes, we will give at least 30 days' written notice, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Late payment: if a payment fails, we will tell you and may suspend the account after 14 days.
Your account
- Keep your login details secure. Each person on your team should have their own login.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and your staff's use of the platform.
- Tell us straight away at hello@eclyde.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You are responsible for your menus, prices, allergen information, opening hours and anything else you publish through Eclyde.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Eclyde for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading;
- send marketing to people who have not given the consent the law requires;
- ask for, buy or post fake reviews, or offer incentives for reviews;
- try to access other accounts or systems, or disrupt the platform;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the platform;
- scrape or extract data from the platform without our written permission.
Your data
You own your business data and your customer data. You give Eclyde permission to process it only to provide the platform to you. When Eclyde processes personal data for you, our data processing agreement and our privacy policy apply. You can export your data at any time.
Our intellectual property
Eclyde owns the platform, software, design and brand. You may not use the Eclyde name or logo without our written consent. We may use feedback you give us to improve the platform.
Automated features
Some features generate suggestions, drafts and insights automatically, such as review reply drafts, marketing suggestions and sales insights. They can be wrong. Review them before relying on them. Business decisions remain yours.
Third-party services
Eclyde connects to services you choose, such as Stripe, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and marketplaces. Those services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, fees or decisions.
Availability
We work to keep the platform running and give advance notice of planned maintenance, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. The POS is built to keep taking orders during an internet outage and sync when the connection returns.
Liability
- Our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid Eclyde in that period.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, revenue or goodwill.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Cancellation and termination
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for fraud, or puts the platform or other users at risk.
- We may end the service for any reason with 30 days' written notice.
- After cancellation you can request an export of your data for 30 days. We then delete it, except records the law requires us to keep.
Disputes and governing law
Tell us about any problem first at hello@eclyde.com, and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We will give account holders at least 30 days' notice by email of significant changes. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.
