When is Deliverect the right call?
More often than a page on our site is supposed to admit. If you bought your till eighteen months ago, or you are a group with kit across several sites that you cannot rip out this year, or your one genuine pain is somebody retyping marketplace orders during service, Deliverect solves exactly that with a low-risk install and an integration list long enough to cover almost any POS. Pushing a menu change to every platform at once instead of editing three back offices saves an hour a week on its own. It is a good product at the job it does, and if that is your job, buy it and stop reading.
When do you need to replace the stack instead?
When the tablets are a symptom rather than the disease. Middleware routes the orders more neatly, but it does not change what they cost you or who owns the customer at the end of them.

What does Eclyde do that middleware cannot?
Give you a channel of your own. Direct online ordering with no commission on the Flat Rate plan, on your own page, with the customer's name and order history staying on your side of the fence. Your own drivers dispatched from the same screen. One set of numbers covering counter, phone, web and apps, so you can finally see what a marketplace order earns after fees against what a direct one earns. And the marketing runs off that list: the regular who has gone quiet gets their usual with a few euro off, without anybody writing the message.
Can you run both together?
Technically yes, practically there is not much point paying twice. Eclyde takes Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat orders into the same queue itself, so a separate aggregation layer is doing a job the platform already does. The sensible approach if you are on Deliverect today is to leave it running through the changeover, check for a week or two that the order counts agree, then switch it off once you trust the new queue. Nobody should be turning off their order routing on a Friday to save a month's subscription.

Can I still use the delivery apps with Eclyde?
Yes. Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat orders come into the same queue and the same kitchen display as your counter, phone and web orders. You get the aggregation benefit without a separate supplier for it, and you keep the apps for discovery while you build your own channel.
Does Eclyde replace my POS too?
Yes, that is the main difference. Eclyde is a till, an ordering page, a kitchen display, delivery management, staff scheduling and the reporting over all of it. Deliverect deliberately does not touch your POS, which is a strength when your POS is fine and a limitation when it is not.
Is switching complicated?
It is a menu rebuild and a training session, so plan it into a quiet week rather than the run-up to a bank holiday. Our team does the menu, the modifiers and the payment setup, then trains your staff before you go live. The part people underestimate is modifier groups, especially per-size or per-side pricing.
What if I already pay for Deliverect?
Run both through the changeover and cancel once the order counts agree for a couple of weeks. There is no contract on our side, so you are not committing to anything before you have seen it work in your own kitchen.
How do the two compare on cost?
Deliverect prices per location and varies by plan and order volume, so the only number worth working from is the quote on your desk, and remember it sits on top of whatever your POS already costs you. Eclyde is €59 a month plus 5% per order, or €169 billed annually and €199 monthly at 0% commission, and it replaces the POS rather than adding to it.
We are a group running different tills at each site. What then?
Then Deliverect is very likely the better answer for now, and we would say so on the call. Connecting mixed estates to the delivery platforms without touching the tills is precisely what it was made for. Replacing every till across a group is a much bigger project and should be driven by a real problem with those tills, not by this page.
Does Eclyde integrate with as many systems as Deliverect?
No, and that comparison is not really fair to either of us. Deliverect's whole business is being the connector, so its certified integration list is far longer than ours will be for a long time. Eclyde needs fewer integrations because the pieces it would otherwise integrate with are already in the platform.
