Dublin
Commission-free online ordering in Dublin.
The apps found you customers you would never have reached, and they charge you for that on every order afterwards, including the regulars. This is the channel you own.
In short
Eclyde gives Dublin restaurants a branded ordering page with no commission on the Flat Rate plan. Customers order directly from you, their names and order history stay with you, and delivery zones are drawn street by street. Marketplace orders still flow into the same kitchen queue while you move regulars across.

What does marketplace commission cost a Dublin takeaway?
Work it out on your own trade rather than on ours. Take your average order value, your real Friday order count, and the commission rate on the contract you actually signed, which commonly sits between 25 and 30 percent when the platform handles delivery. A restaurant doing fifty delivery orders at €25 on a busy night is handing over somewhere near €350 in a single evening. Whatever your number is, the useful question is what share of it came from customers who already knew your name.
How is your own ordering page different from a listing?
On an app you are a row in a grid, sorted by an algorithm you do not control, with a competitor's promotion sitting directly above your best seller. On your own page there is nobody else on it. Your name, your menu, your photographs, your deals. The customer who orders once can be invited back by you, whenever you decide, rather than resold to whoever bids highest for their attention next Tuesday.
- A branded ordering page on your own domain, or hosted if you have no site
- No competitor promotions beside your menu
- Customer names, order history and preferences stay with you
- Loyalty built in, so the habit forms on your channel
How do you set delivery zones that work across Dublin?
Not with a circle on a map. A mile as the crow flies means nothing when the only crossing is a bridge that is solid at six o'clock, and a zone that looks tidy on a radius will have your driver stuck on the quays with two cold orders in the back. Eclyde lets you draw zones by street with their own fees, minimum orders and quoted times: free delivery to the immediate few roads, a higher minimum past the canal, and a hard edge where it stops making sense. Live tracking stops customers ringing the restaurant mid-service to ask where the food is.
How do Dublin customers find your ordering page?
Google, your socials, your shopfront, and the bag. The page is built for local search, so when somebody nearby searches for what you make, your own site is competing for your own customer instead of leaving that entirely to the apps. The rest is unglamorous and works: a code in every bag that only redeems on your page, a direct-only price or a free side, your web address on the packaging, staff mentioning it at collection. Then the marketing does the follow-up, noticing the regular who has gone quiet and sending them their usual with a few euro off. This takes months, not a fortnight.

Can I offer delivery across all of Dublin?
You decide the shape. Cover a few roads, a whole postal district, or half the county, with different fees, minimums and quoted times per zone. Most restaurants start tighter than they think they need to, because a late order at the edge of the range costs more in goodwill than it earns in margin.
What about customers who only ever use Deliveroo?
Keep them there. Some people order by app habit and will not change, and chasing them is wasted effort. Keep the listing running, put a flyer with a direct-order discount in every app order that goes out, and concentrate on the regulars who already know your name.
Do I need a website already?
No. Eclyde hosts a branded ordering page for you, and if you already have a site the ordering plugs straight into it so customers never leave your domain.
What does it cost compared with commission?
€59 a month plus 5% per order on Flexible, or €169 a month billed annually and €199 monthly at 0% commission on Flat Rate. Above roughly €2,800 a month in online sales the flat plan is the cheaper one, and both include every feature.
