Dublin
A restaurant POS made in Dublin.
Most tills in Dublin kitchens are cash registers with a screen. This one takes every order channel, runs the pass and the drivers, and tells you what the night actually earned.
In short
Eclyde gives Dublin restaurants a till that unifies counter, phone, web and marketplace orders on one screen, with kitchen display, Stripe-powered payments, delivery dispatch, staff scheduling and reporting built in. The Dublin team does setup, menu build and staff training in your kitchen. No contract, no lock-in.

What should a restaurant POS do beyond taking money?
Hold the night together. Taking payment is the easy part and every till does it. The hard parts are the ones that go wrong at ten past eight: the ticket that never reached the pass, the driver who left without the dips, the modifier nobody could read, the order somebody retyped wrong from a tablet. Eclyde runs the counter, the kitchen display, the drivers and the rota off one set of data, so the same order is only ever entered once and everything downstream reads from it.
Can it replace the Deliveroo and Just Eat tablets?
That is usually the first thing Dublin restaurants ask, and yes. Marketplace orders land in the same queue and on the same kitchen display as your counter, phone and web orders, so nobody is retyping anything mid-rush. Keep the apps for discovery as long as they earn their keep. What changes is that you stop running three separate order systems in a kitchen with room for one.
- Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat in the same queue as your own orders
- One kitchen display for every source
- One cash up covering the drawer, the card takings and driver floats
- Reporting that compares app orders with direct ones after fees
How does it handle Irish payments and VAT?
Payments run through Stripe: card, contactless, Apple Pay and Google Pay at the counter and online, with tips and refunds on the same screen and no terminal rental contract sitting underneath. VAT is set per item and per order type and applied automatically. That flexibility earns its keep in Ireland specifically, because the rate on food service has moved more than once in recent years and gets argued about at every budget. When it moves again you change a setting, not a menu.
Who sets it up, and how long does it take?
We do, in your kitchen. Menu build, modifier groups, payment setup, kitchen routing and staff training, with someone there for your first live service. Most sites are trading within days. The honest advice is to put it in a quiet week rather than the run-up to a bank holiday, and to give the modifier groups a proper hour, because per-size and per-side pricing is where every migration gets messy if it is rushed.

Which Dublin restaurants use Eclyde?
We do not publish customer names or case studies yet, and we would rather tell you that than imply a track record we have not earned. Book a demo and we will run the product against your own menu so you can judge it on what it does, not on who else is on it.
Is there a contract?
No contract, no lock-in and no cancellation fee, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee. That is deliberate. A young platform should have to earn its place every month rather than rely on a signature you gave it in March.
How quickly can I be set up?
Days for most sites, once the menu is built and the team has been trained. The variable is your menu, not our software: a twelve-line takeaway board goes fast, a full carte with per-size pricing and allergen detail takes longer and deserves the extra time.
Does it keep working if the broadband drops?
The till keeps taking orders and syncs everything once the line is back. Card authorisation is the honest exception, because no reader on any system authorises with no connection at all, so keep a cash float for the rare bad night.
See it run your restaurant.
Twenty minutes on your menu and your numbers. We'll show you what actually changes in the first month and exactly what it costs. If it's not right for your restaurant, we'll tell you that instead.
- Live in days, not months
- We build your menu and train your staff
- No contract, and thirty days to change your mind
