Marketing Automation
Marketing automation that runs while you cook.
No agency, no retainer, no marketing degree. Eclyde reads what your customers actually order and sends the offer that suits them, at the hour they usually buy.
In short
Eclyde Marketing Automation reads a restaurant's own order data and sends personalised offers by SMS, email and push. It runs win-back campaigns for lapsed customers, triggers promotions in quiet periods, and reports the revenue each campaign produced. It needs a few weeks of order history before its targeting is worth anything.

The regular who quietly stopped coming
Every restaurant has them. Thursday couple, same order for two years, then nothing since April and you only half noticed. Eclyde notices. Once somebody drifts past their own normal gap between orders, they get a message with their dish in it and a reason to come back this week. No spreadsheet, no segment building, no Sunday night spent exporting a list.
Offers based on what they actually order
A generic ten per cent off is a discount you give to people who were coming anyway. Eclyde knows what each customer buys, when they buy it and what they spend, so the pizza regular gets something on pizza and the Friday curry household hears from you on a Friday afternoon rather than a Tuesday morning.
- Segments built from order history and spend
- Triggers on first order, birthday and lapse
- Discount value scaled to what the customer is worth
- A/B testing on every campaign
Quiet Wednesday, busy Friday
A dead Wednesday afternoon is capacity you're paying for either way, so that's when a flash offer makes sense. A Friday at half eight isn't, because you'd be discounting food you were going to sell at full price. Eclyde watches the demand and pulls promotions back when you're heading for capacity. Discounting into a rush is the most common own goal in this trade.
SMS, email or push, whichever they open
Some people read texts and delete every email unopened. Others are the reverse. Eclyde tracks which channel a given customer actually responds to and uses that one, rather than firing everything down all four and calling it reach.
It needs a few weeks before it's any good
This is the honest limit. On day one Eclyde doesn't know who your regulars are, what a normal gap between orders looks like or which offers land, because none of that exists until orders do. Typically it takes a few weeks of trading before targeting beats a plain list. The templates and the sending work immediately. The judgement behind them arrives with the data.
What each campaign actually brought back
Not opens. Not clicks. How many of the people who got that message came back, what they spent when they did, and what the offer cost you to bring them in. If a campaign loses money, you'll see it in the same report, which is the point.
Questions, answered straight.
Not covered here? Just ask us.
Do I need to write the marketing messages?
No. Eclyde drafts them from your menu, your tone and the customer's own history, and you can edit any template or leave it alone. Worth being straight about the timing though: the sending is automatic from the start, but the targeting isn't clever until there's order history behind it. For the first few weeks it's closer to a well-organised mailing list than anything smarter.
Will customers feel spammed?
There's a cap on how often any one person can be contacted, opt-outs apply the moment somebody uses them, and a customer who hasn't responded to three messages stops getting them. The real protection is relevance. People don't mind hearing from the restaurant they eat at every week. They mind hearing about a deal on something they'd never order.
How quickly do campaigns start running?
Simple ones can go out in your first week, because a birthday offer or a thank you after a first order only needs that one order to exist. The campaigns that make the money, win-backs and lapse detection, need a few weeks of trading first. Eclyde has to see what normal looks like for your restaurant before it can tell you when something has gone off it.
Can I approve messages before they go out?
Yes. Every campaign can be paused or switched off on its own, and you can edit any template before it is live. Some owners read everything for the first month and then stop bothering, others keep approving the discount-heavy ones forever and let the plain ones run. Either is fine. What you should not do is set it all live on day one and not look at it again until the offers show up in your margins.
