Eclyde

For Pizza Shops

Pizza shop pace, handled.

Friday and Saturday are the business. Eclyde takes the modifiers, the deals and the delivery run without slowing the line between six and ten, when the oven is the only bottleneck you should have.

In short

Eclyde is a point of sale and ordering system for pizza shops. It prices half and halfs by side, keeps sizes, bases and toppings on one screen, sends a clear ticket to the make table, and runs your delivery with zones, batching and live tracking. Direct orders carry no commission on Flat Rate.

How do you take a half and half without slowing the till down?

Half pepperoni, half margherita, extra cheese on the pepperoni side only, no basil, stuffed crust, and make it a fourteen. That is one order and it is the most complicated modifier structure in the trade. Eclyde prices it by side, so an extra topping on one half charges half, and a topping across the whole pizza charges once. The ticket that reaches the make table reads as left and right, not as a paragraph somebody has to decode with flour on their hands. Gluten-free bases flag red so they go on their own tray with their own peel, which is the one mistake you genuinely cannot serve your way out of.

How do you get a Friday night delivery run out on time?

The dough went in Thursday and the proving trays were counted at eleven this morning. From half seven the oven decides everything, so the till and the drivers have to stop adding to the problem. Eclyde batches drops by area so a driver leaves with three boxes going the same way rather than three trips. Quoted times move with the actual oven queue instead of promising everyone forty-five minutes at half eight and disappointing half of them. The bag check sits on the ticket, so the dips and the bottle of Coke go out with the order rather than back in the car ten minutes later.

Do meal deals and bundles actually make money?

Some do. Two-for-Tuesday, the family bundle, the student code: Eclyde reports margin per deal, not just how many times it was redeemed, which is the number that flatters every promotion ever run. The honest version is that a deal shifting volume on a dead Tuesday earns its keep, and the same deal running on a Friday at capacity just discounts orders you were going to take anyway. The reporting will show you which one you have got. Most restaurants find they are running at least one deal out of pure habit.

Can it price toppings per side on a half and half?

Yes, per side. An extra on one half charges half the extra, an extra across the whole pizza charges once, and the kitchen ticket keeps the two sides separate so nobody has to work it out at the bench.

Will it work with our existing phone number?

Your number stays exactly as it is and nothing changes for your customers. Phone orders get keyed into the same queue as everything else, and searching a customer by phone number brings up their last order so a regular takes seconds.

Can we start with online ordering and delivery and add the till later?

Yes, plenty of restaurants do it in that order. Start with the ordering page and driver dispatch, run them alongside your existing till for a few weeks, then move the counter across when the team is comfortable. Both plans include everything either way, so there is no cost to waiting.

How does it handle a queue of tickets when the oven is behind?

The kitchen display keeps the order they came in and shows how long each has been up, so the make table works the list rather than the loudest voice. Quoted collection and delivery times stretch with the queue, which is the part customers actually forgive.
